The Stonewall Institute was created as a community-wide resource for donors, volunteer leaders and non-profit staff to share ideas, learn new skills.

Through the Stonewall Institute, we’re working to create “learning communities”, where resources and knowledge are shared for the benefit of all—and, we’re doing it through practical and cost-effective initiatives.

Check back often to learn what’s new, where you might contribute or to find a training session or discussion group that may benefit you.

When they arrive at college their ID will match their gender.

The Stonewall Institute is an innovative training and leadership development program for board, staff, members, and volunteers of LGBT organizations, projects and programs in New York City.

The goals of this initiative are to provide opportunities for these organizations to build useful relationships, share resources and information, improve skills, and explore the potential to collaborate on critical issues.

The Institute’s programs and activities are offered free or at low-cost.
