Looking back on Vision 2022

Last month, our community came together to celebrate Pride and build a space of warmth, connection, and joy. After three long years, the 2022 Vision Awards were the in-person reunion we all needed! Each year, our signature Pride gala honors extraordinary individuals who use their vision and voice to make the world a better place for the LGBTQ community. In this political moment, as LGBTQ lives and liberties are under unprecedented attack, we came together to strengthen Stonewall’s vital work supporting our Movement, and to honor visionaries doing the same.

Huge congratulations to our deserving honorees, Broadway legend and LGBTQ advocate Audra McDonald (she/her), acclaimed nonbinary performance artist ALOK (they/them), renowned celebrity stylist Ty Hunter (he/him), and queer storytelling powerhouse HBO.

The 2022 Vision Awards were just a sneak peek of the future our community is making a reality – the future our community deserves. Together, we’re creating a world where everyone on the broad and beautiful spectrum of queerness can live boldly, authentically, and openly. Be sure to join us next year!
