Stonewall Institute

Making Way for High Impact Leadership

Created in 2004, the Stonewall Institute is a training and leadership development program for board, staff, members, and volunteers of LGBTQ organizations, projects, and programs in New York City.

The initiative provides opportunities for community at large to:

  • build useful and meaningful relationships,
  • exchange resources and information,
  • learn new skills and build greater capacity, and
  • explore the potential to work together on critical issues.

Shared Resources and Ideas

Through the Stonewall Institute, we are working to create “learning communities”, wherein resources and knowledge are shared for the benefit of all—and, we are doing it through practical and cost-effective initiatives.
